Ali is an Allied Health Assistant and Inclusion Support Worker with over 13 years’ experience in the disability sector, supporting clients across all ages, with a particular passion for working with tweens, teens and adults. Ali has extensive experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours and focuses on building strong, trusting relationships with both clients and their families.
Ali’s journey into this work is personal as well as professional. Her son began speech therapy at 2.5 years old and continues to attend Speech and OT, which has given her a deep appreciation for the impact supportive, consistent therapy can have on a family. Ali finds her work incredibly fulfilling, especially when trust is built and she can support clients over time to see their confidence, skills and independence grow.
Ali has been with Peninsula Plus since 2021 and has built many meaningful and lasting connections with clients and families. Her areas of interest include challenging behaviours, articulation and speech, independent life skills, and supporting overall quality of life.
Outside of work, Ali is a busy mum to two boys and two stepdaughters. Ali loves family outings, hot weather, gardening and growing veggies, and getting creative with mosaicking. She is a big animal lover and shares her home with two very friendly dogs, Bonnie and George.
