Amy is skilled in conducting assessments that identify neurodivergence such as autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and specific learning disorders through using evidence-based assessment tools.
In addition, Amy has significant experience providing one-on-one therapeutic support. She is committed to offering personalised, neuro-affirming care and creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel comfortable expressing their authentic selves.
Amy approaches her therapeutic work through a social model of disability framework, using a range of evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapy. When working with children, she integrates play-based approaches where appropriate to ensure engagement and understanding.
She is passionate about promoting inclusion, fostering self-esteem, and supporting clients in building meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys running, spending time at the beach or with her dogs, and listening to Taylor Swift.
