Kate is an Occupational Therapist at Peninsula Speech Plus who is passionate about helping children find ways to live their best lives. She believes that kindness, fun, and encouragement can work wonders in building a child’s confidence. As a mother of three, she understands the importance of family involvement and support in every child’s journey.
In her work, Kate loves to incorporate music, play, and outdoor activities to engage children in meaningful ways. She values learning from the families she works with and sees herself as part of a larger team alongside parents, allied health professionals, and educational staff.
Outside of work, she stays busy caring for her own children (often in the role of “taxi driver”) and two beloved dogs. She enjoys gardening and growing her own vegetables, singing, playing the ukulele and piano, reading great books, and enjoying good food. She is also an active member of a local drama group, believing that meaningful occupation is like medicine—something she wholeheartedly embraces!
