While working in the welfare and community health sector, Kellie witnessed the challenges many young people faced due to communication difficulties, which inspired her to pursue a career in speech pathology. She has a keen interest in evidence-based approaches to supporting individuals with their communication and swallowing needs, helping them fully participate in their chosen social and academic settings. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hosting friends for meals, and taking on new challenges.
