telepractice
Telepractice, also known as telehealth, allows you to access therapy services through video calls on your phone, tablet, or computer. It’s a flexible and convenient way to connect with our clinicians, no matter where you are.
At Peninsula Plus, we are committed to delivering high-quality telepractice services. Our clinicians continually update and refine their skills to ensure you receive the best possible support.
how does telepractice work?
If you’ve ever used Skype, FaceTime, or Google Hangouts, then you already have a good idea of how telepractice works! It connects you with your therapist via video, providing a familiar and easy-to-use way to engage in therapy.
Our experienced clinicians will guide you through the process, answer any questions, and make sure you feel confident and supported. Telepractice offers the flexibility you need while ensuring you continue working towards your therapy goals.
We’ve seen fantastic results in both one-on-one and group sessions. Telepractice has been especially helpful for clients who:
- Have difficulty accessing services in their local area
- Are looking for a fresh approach to therapy
- Need continuity of care while traveling or relocating
accessing telepractice?
At Peninsula Plus, we use Microsoft Teams and Zoom for telepractice sessions. These platforms provide secure, high-quality video calls, ensuring a smooth and effective experience.
- Microsoft Teams: No need to install special software—you can access it from any computer, laptop, iPad, or tablet with an internet connection. We’ll send you a meeting link to join your session.
- Zoom: Another great option for video calls, providing flexibility depending on your internet connection.
We run both programs to offer choices that work best for you. If you need any help getting set up, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Expanding Access and Continuity of Care
By fully embracing telepractice, we’ve been able to expand our reach, making therapy more accessible for a wider range of clients. It ensures continuity of care, helping you stay on track with your therapy goals, even when in-person sessions aren’t possible.
Wherever you are, telepractice brings our team to you.

- Connecting you with other parents and carers to reduce isolation, if needed
- Experiencing joy and fun as a family and celebrating your child's strengths
